About Flourish Homeschool

Flourish Homeschool was born out of a desire to encourage, equip and empower families on their homeschooling journey.   

In this age of digital overload, many families begin their homeschooling journey confused and overwhelmed. It is through conversations with tired and frustrated parents, that the ideas of support and coaching came.  A listening ear, some gentle guidance in the right direction can make all the difference!  It’s been an honour to be invited into the hearts and homes of families to help them find their own expression of homeschooling and to watch them flourish.   

The Learning Guides have been created out of need for contextual hands-on learning curriculum for little learners.  In the early years of teaching my own young children, I began to document our learning journey to share with friends.  These were often scrawled in note form that, through some amazing creative help and hard work has finally blossomed into learning guides.

Hi, I’m Penny

I live on the coast of Western Australia with my husband and our four beautiful children.  I am a primary school teacher turned homeschool mama and feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to learning alongside my children.

I enjoy the freedom, flexibility and lifestyle of homeschooling. I love spending my days with my children and enjoying the bond we all share. 

When I get a ‘quiet moment’, I like to be in the sea, out in nature, playing music or sitting down with a cuppa. 

So, as we ride the ups and downs of this journey of educating our children at home, it is my hope that as you come along with me, you may be encouraged and supported for the whole family to flourish in your journey.

Services I Provide

I can guide and support you in a variety of ways including:

  • Listen and answer any questions you may have about homeschooling

  • Setting up your homeschool right from the beginning

  • Guide you to create your own routine or flow specific to your family

  • Support you to create a flourishing learning community with others

  • Help to choose curriculum and resources

  • Guidance to finding your family’s learning style/philosophy

  • Trouble-shooting areas of challenge in your home

I love to meet with homeschooling families to help them discover their strengths and their own expression of learning. 

Finding your own style can be very overwhelming and sometimes we need someone to talk to about our specific situation.

Coaching

Initial One-on-One Coaching Session

90 Minute Session | $150

This session is the best place to start for help on your homeschooling journey. I will listen and talk with you one-on-one about your own situation and any questions or concerns you have.  I will offer you some practical tips and guide you to building meaningful connections with your children.  The goal for this session is to encourage and empower you on your learning journey.  After purchasing your initial session, you will be directed to fill in some questions so I can get to you know you and make the most of our session.  I look forward to supporting you and your family to flourish in your homeschooling.
